What's it all about?

Operating every Saturday from 2pm, Dagun Growers Market offers an astonishing range of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, most of which are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers or chemical sprays. There are also breads, honey, preserves, teas, oils and much more.
The market is held in the grounds of the old Dagun Railway Station, which still operates for the Mary Valley Heritage steam train trips. The steam train arrives during the afternoon, and visitors can arrange for a short trip whilst visiting the market.
The old Goods Shed has been converted into a Cellar Door outlet for Moffatdale Ridge Wines (the Winery itself is just south of Murgon, about 85km to the west of Dagun). Visitors can sample and purchase the wines, liqueurs and ports, or make a selection from the great cheeses also on offer - several types from the Kenilworth Cheese Factory and Dagun's own "Cooloola Cheeses" which includes a rich Triple Cream Brie and a Camembert, a smooth Fromage Blanc and tasty Creme Fraiche, all made from Jersey milk and cream.
A great place to visit, or to pick up your regular weekly fresh produce!
